The principal objective of the company is the consolidation and creation of more than 400 healthy and secure jobs, providing a suitable professional and social environment, encouraging the implementation of the following programs: zero or minimum work accidents, an employee support fund, celebration of special dates, employee advancement incentives, promotion within the company, and the sponsorship of employees seeking advanced education. The majority of our workforce is female, many of which act as head-of-household providing support to their entire family. In some cases, the company has provided employment for displaced residents from conflict-zones giving them the opportunity to be part of our society and have a proper job to support their families with safer conditions.

With all of these programs, the company is not only fulfilling a company responsibility but it also contributes with the development of the community as well as with the nation.

The employee fund, “FONLAGO”, has always provided for the welfare of all its associates. That’s why we are always in the forefront of the different activities that improve their quality of life as well as those of their families.

The employee fund, “FONLAGO”, arranges agreements with entities and stores that offer electrical appliances, footwear, clothing, and school supplies. We also encourage credit loans with lower interest rates offered from the Colombian market.

This year, we have started to negotiate agreements with computer equipment stores since most of our associates need to have their children learning the most up-to-date technology.

At the same time, we encourage our associates to accumulate savings for the end-of-year Christmas holiday while also paying them their profit shares in order to allow them to enjoy a better Christmas with their families.

We also hold casual, afternoon meetings with our associates inside the company to maintain high morale.
